Cherished Retreat 2022

The blessings of God continued to flow at our 2nd Annual Cherished Retreat!  If you missed it, you will certainly want to make your plans to attend the next one!  Our theme was "Walking in Worth, Proclaiming my Purpose".  God has a difinitive plan and purpose for each one of us.  It is up to us to follow His plan and will for our lives,  He gives us so many promises in His word that He 'orders our footsteps', and that He will lead and guide us! 

The Cherished Retreat is a wonderful place for women of all walks of life to join together in fellowship, worship and to receive great things from the Lord.  We laughed, we wept, we received the anointed Word of the Lord. There were door prizes galore and new friendships gained.  We had vendors so we could do what ladies love to do..."SHOP".  Oh what a glorious, fun, and blessed time we had!

Thank you to all of our volunteers and sponsors.  We appreciate you all so very much!

  We were so honored to have a very special guest on Friday evening. JoAnna Robbins has served in West Africa with the International Missions Board for 12 years, teaching in Texas for 18 years, and serving for 4 1/2 years with Crossover Global. God has called her to be a missionary to missionaries. Her goal is to strengthen the work among the unreached people groups by equipping and encouraging multi-cultural, multi-lingual leaders. She has served with Ministry Essentials International.  The MEI mission base is located in Budapest, Hungary. Missionaries from all agencies are welcomed to this safe retreat crisis intervention, debriefing, mentoring, training missionary kids' care, spiritual direction, and counseling.

We were able to bless her with a bag of Anointed prayer cloths to take back with her overseas, to bless  a group of Single Women Missionaries. We also gathered around her and prayed God's blessings on her! What an honor to have a small part in this beautiful endeavor!

This year we had a Q and A panel, that expounded on questions that our guests had submitted at registration. These were dispersed amongst 3 panelists and prayed over. God surely spoke through each of them, and we all were blessed.  We hope this was something that you all enjoyed and in the future we can have the opportunity to  continue to share our hearts in this way.  What a blessing this was.  Great job ladies!

Our Praise team was off the chart!!  What an amazing job they all did in ushering us into the presence of God with music, praise and worship! Would like to publicly thank them all for all the dedication and hard work of practices and sacrificially giving of your time and God given talent for this Retreat.  Our musicians were, Keys: Lori Brown, Guitars: Luke Perry.  SIngers: Ivy Peterson, Kelli Rawlinson, Shae Brown, Amanda Perry, Brandi Rush and Bethany Brown.

It was such an honor to have my loving and supportive husband, Joe Lutka, Jr. with me during this Retreat and by my side everyday in this beautiful life we share. It's our goal to follow God's leading with this Ministry!

I would like to give honor to our amazing Photographer, Carla Blanchard from Wichita Falls, Texas.  She captured some great memories for us and I truly appreciate her for offering to bless us with her services.  She is such a beautiful lady, with a sweet, sweet spirit and is a personal friend of mine. To know her is such a blessing! Thank you Carla so very much! Hoping you will be with us at our other events and future Cherished Retreats!

No. 1 -  The cherished ladies retreat was amazing. It is the right environment to have an encounter with God. I loved the experiences shared by the ladies. It was not random. You could relate to it and more importantly understand God’s hand even in a crisis. This is a powerful ministry and God is using them mightily. You do not want to miss the next one. May God continue to use this ministry as a source of blessing. The prayer clothes were definitely a great way for me to pray for and with someone. Loved it!

No. 3-    I attended the retreat because I truly needed a little break as well as because I already knew the Poe Girls.(Dorothy Lutka and her sisters) I throughly enjoyed the music, songs & fellowship. I especially liked that it was multi-faith-based. (Is that even a thing?) Although it was apparent that we all came from many diverse religious groups, GOD was still the CENTER of our worship & purpose! I was personally, spiritually touched by more than one of the speakers. God is Good!

We are asking that you all pray with us as we seek and follow after God's leading for our 3rd Annual Cherished retreat.  Seems we are being faced with so many obstacles, but I know THE WAY MAKER, MIRACLE WORKER, PROMISE KEEPER and He will open all the right doors in His perfect timing!!!
